DressMatcher uses minimal cookies. We believe in respecting your privacy, so we've kept cookie usage to the absolute minimum needed to provide a functional experience.
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type). These cookies help us understand how people use DressMatcher so we can improve it. No personal information is collected through these cookies.
Favorites work in two ways depending on whether you're signed in. If you save dresses while signed out, we use your browser's local storage (not cookies) so they stay on that device only. If you're signed in to a DressMatcher account, favorites are stored with your account on our servers so they sync across the devices where you're signed in.
We don't use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, social media tracking cookies, or any cookies that follow you across the internet. We don't build user profiles.
When you click through to a retailer's site, that retailer and our affiliate network partners (Awin, Rakuten, CJ) may place their own cookies. These are subject to the retailer's and affiliate network's cookie policies, not ours.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. DressMatcher will still work without cookies, though we won't be able to collect anonymous analytics data to improve the site.
